Encouraging a participative approach to move forward together
In 2015, all staff were asked to answer 3 questions with a view to adapting the values defined in 2007 to the Group's new multi-cultural dimension : "What are your personal values ? What values do you see in the company ? What values do you think are necessary for FM Logistic to be even more successful in the future ?". The operation was a hit with a 74 % participation rate. It highlighted the commitment of FM Logistic staff in all countries. With 11,000 responses, the project team was able to hold 35 quality discussion groups involving 250 people from operators to executive committee members. The objective was to finalise the values that would support FM Logistic's strategy and enable continued growth. Following implementation in the autumn of 2016, the objective now is to bring the values to life within the Group so that they become a differentiating, high-performance tool.

Through motivated men and women, these values come to life and contribute to the performance of the company by creating a positive working atmosphere and developing a feeling of pride and belonging to a group. Soft skills resulting from our company’s history, a company that wants to remain independent and, thanks to motivated and committed men and women, develop its capacities to secure its future. The attitudes and conduct of managers and staff members are defined in accordance with our values. The spirit of FM can be found at each site and illustrates, along with our ethics charter, the personality of our company. Our challenge is to perpetuate our Values, our Culture and our ethics through our international development.
FM Logistic has greatly evolved and grown since defining its values in 2007. In order to reflect the reality of our company as well as its new strategic, organisational and managerial challenges, they must progress and be subject to a consensus from all of our staff". Our 3 values result from the answers 74% of our employees gave in a survey, as well as from group discussions between over 250 members of staff who went on to explain the sense of the words chosen. Our 3 values « Trust, Performance and Openness » are coherent with our History that we are proud of as well as projecting us into the future : they guide our decisions and strengthen the feeling of belonging to the Company. Each manager brings these values to life within their teams through the development of initiatives that enrich our culture, to ensure that FM’s values last and become a reference for every employee.
